Switching from MarkUp.io starts with the export

Lower pricing does not help if the review history gets lost. Inspect the export before committing a migration.

A practical review sequence

  1. Export CSV or JSON from MarkUp.io and save original files separately.
  2. Compare previewed messages, authors, dates and statuses with the source.
  3. Read the loss report. Pins, thread structure and linked media are not automatically reconstructed. Compatibility with a real MarkUp export is not yet verified.

Your working template

Adapt the text, then use it in your next review. It stays in this browser tab.

Put it into practice

Upload an image or PDF, share a private review link and gather feedback on a specific file version. The limited beta is free. Guest names are self-reported; workflow approvals are not verified signatures.

Source and limits

Official MarkUp export documentation. The generic importer is tested with synthetic comment data. Confirm a real export before relying on a migration.
